In between the cold weather and the spreading virus
we've been trapped inside most of this month.
I was quite the couch potato while Mom and Dad watched
Spook/MI 5 and other shows.
We've also enjoyed "Friday Fires" at the hearth.
But the ice finally left and the vaccine is here!
Best of all some of us have been able to get it!
It won't be long before we will all be able to get out of our caged existence.
Mom got a little "EDGY" this month.
For one of the puzzles she completed
she sorted out the edge pieces and put them away
until she completed the rest of the puzzle.
Ooooooooooo, radical.
Another puzzle was a "mystery"
with a secret she won't tell.
Just know it came with MULTIPLE edge pieces -
way more than the outside edge pieces.
Tricky! But loads of mystical fun.
The ice on the shoreline finally melted enough
that windy walks on the beach have returned.
Mom held the whole world in her hand.and tree-mendous days of sunshine -
Some of my friends did!
Lots of smiling pups out there.
Mom comes home smelling like them all.
Have you had any hair raising moments this month?
Thrifting and antique hunting were continued joy makers.
Mom enjoyed a take out burger with onion rings
and a reuben on St. Patrick's Day!
Comfort foods are helping Mom cope with being cooped up.
If you are snacking, don't worry about it.
Just go buy yourself some flowers!
When the weather warms up
walking will bring back balance.
Please tell me you've sent a friend a letter.
Cool stamps make a letter extra special.
Finding places to get away and create is always fun.
Are you remembering to look both up and down?
There are just so many colors and shapes out there to see.
Keep searching for those surprises!
Sometimes they will just appear!
Each day we are "barn again" to discover new beauty.
What's makes your heart happy?
As we wait for traveling to be safe again
t's fun to see "my kinda town" with new eyes.
Even though the virus has changed how we live our lives
try to find ways to appreciate every day.
Because...
PAWS a moment and reflect on your day.
What surprised you?
What did you notice with fresh eyes?
You can do this gratitude practice every night.
It's your choice.
Focus on the hard stuff or celebrate the tiny blessings.
I hope you choose to bring beauty into your day!

Magnus, you and your Mom have had an exciting month! I love it when the spring flowers begin to peep through after winter, and geez you had *winter* this year! Reminds me of hope and renewal! You posted so many neat pix from all the adventures! Always enjoy reading and seeing what you're up to!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the sweet comments. We are enjoying the flowering trees now!
DeleteMagnus, thank you for reminding us to find the beauty in every day and search for what makes our heart happy!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the kind words. Your friendship makes our hearts happy. ❤️
DeleteMagnus, how is your paw? I hope you were able to go for a walk this weekend.
ReplyDeleteThanks for asking! I just finished my meds and the red bump is gone! I still have a black bump. But I think it makes me look tougher. Old age does that - gives us spots to mark our years of growth. Hope your kitty cat is healing well.
