Oh, Fudge

Has anyone else developed a pandemic paunch?
Mom and I have one.
Even condiments have become tricky.
Who knew they had so much sugar?
Mom has some pants she kicked up with some embellishments.
(They are also some of the only pants that fit her.)
Lots of walks will hopefully get this under control.
But Girl Scout cookies are NOT helping...
or Super Bowl yummy treats.
No body shaming here. It's just nice to have an awareness of what feels comfortable.
It's nice to fit in favorite outfits.
Trying to eat healthy is for birds!

But if you are not in shape it's harder
to get yourself out of situations
which require some agility.
Can you relate?
We hope you got some extra love because of Valentine's Day.
Even if you gave yourself that lovin!

We hope you are staying warm and snuggling
especially if you are having snowy weather like we are experiencing.
Trying to maneuver in deep snow is exhausting!
Make sure you get out there and have some fun in the snow!

Be careful out there!
When you come back inside get something warm to drink
and use a cute mug!
Wrap yourself up in a blankie.
This one was made for Mom by a dear friend.
Gather around a firepit.
Has anyone else taken some sheers to their own hair?
Mom did...and then Dad sent her this link.
When someone gives you unsolicited advice it's best to not overreact.
And when talking with others just try to be supportive.
Mom has a buddy who took her on a road trip adventure.
What a blessing it is to get outside
and be somewhere other than our homes.

It's fun to see new (and old) things.
Did you ever hear O.W.L. stands for Only With Love?
Are you staying in touch with family and friends?
Are you ironing out some details in your home during quarantine?
I was able to help Dad with some home improvements.
Are you watching anything new?
Are you rewatching anything?

Are you ready to watch the Golden Globes tonight?
Mom has been dog sitting so she's had time to catch up on her movie watching.
Have you heard any new tunes?

Do you prefer to play the classics?
Are you taking enough time to be playful and creative?

Are you finding ways to be of service?
Worrying does nothing but create fear.
Find ways to connect with other and lift up each other!
We can all do something to encourage others.
PAWS and think of someone you can call, send a letter, text or visit (masked).
Do it!
Don't isolate.
No matter how difficult, stay close to your loved ones.
I sure wish I could snuggle with those who live outside my Covid bubble!
Praying for vaccines here.
