WASH YOUR PAWS/HANDS

Covid is raging around the nation!
Please be sure and wash up!
This custom made hand painted jar is full of SOAP.
Thank you to TRACY'S ART DESIGNS SHOP on Etsy for making it!
Disclaimer:
Dear readers (bless you),
Some of you think the blog is "too long."
Please do not tell me. That does not make my tail wag.
This blog is a monthly photo journal of JOY & GRATITUDE ~ with the occasional protest.
We do not want to know if you don't like it. You are certainly more than welcome to tell us something nice.
Like Mother says, "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all."
You obviously may stop looking at the blog when your eyes and patience have had enough of it.
July is my human mom's birthday month.
She LOVES treating herself - and this year she had a DAIRY DREAM of a Day!
She also got to go to the Chicago Botanic Gardens where she spotted a turtle sunbathing.
To finish her birthday celebrations we all
RAISED A GLASS TO FREEDOM
and watched Hamilton on Disney.
Mom has continued to comb the shores of Lake Michigan
for beach glass and found a RED piece, which she's been told is rare.
This month she found lots of heart shaped rocks and glass and an ANGEL'S WING!
Mom sorted all her glass and donated a bunch to her favorite Craft Shop.
While singing, "Barges, I would like to go with you..." of course!
Mom's HEART is happiest when she's at the beach.
Mom is not that crafty, but this month she gave it a try.
Dad IS crafty. He built this cedar tabletop for the fire pit!
I don't mean to be nosy, but what are you doing these days?
Our home was painted this month.
Here's a video of me working on my Spanish.
Didn't know I was bilingual, did ya?
Mom and Dad were invited to a beautiful backyard garden.
Mom also got to dog sit.
Looks like she really worked hard.
Ahem...
She also got to make a delivery at one of her favorite places on earth.
Check out this Stairway to Heaven.
It's so nice to sit awhile and chat with Phamily friends.
Have you stop to notice blue skies and wild flowers?
It does a body good.
Are you getting enough exercise?
Are you drinking enough water?
Have you noticed grocery costs are rising?
If you are able, please donate to food banks.
Buy yourself or someone else something fun too.
So many people are living a stormy life.
Help them have a rainbow day.
Don't let the heat exhaust you!
Rest and keep cool!
Have you treated yourself to some flowers, art, and culture?
(Collage of paintings by Irving Moses.)

Have you seen anything WILD and crazy...
or old and cool looking?
Seen anything thoughtful or thought provoking?
What mysteries are you unlocking?
What are you building into your life?
Any classes, workshops or seminars?
Mom attended an online one with Jennifer Pastiloff and Elizabeth Gilbert!
What are you munching on?
Mom has been going to Farmer's Markets and getting fresh fruits and veggies.
But she still eats some unhealthy but tasty foods.
Dad made yummy pesto with fresh basil.
Are you sharing goodies?
It's fun to do!
Some shops are open.
Have you seen or bought anything interesting?
What lit your fire this month?
What are you reading or listening to lately?
Have you sent anyone a letter?
Have you attended any social distanced celebrations?
My family has been staying home in our own little nest.
The only trips have been for family needs.
I hope you are staying safe. It's scary out there.
We're climbing the walls here because of being together soooooo much
that we are kinda goin' QUACKERS!
PAWS a moment and look around you.
Are you seeing things clearly?
Are you?
If everything looks the same and it's not enjoyable,
change your perspective!
Peace be with you until we meet here again.

Enjoy the DOG DAZE of SUMMER.
Mom says she's proud to be an American.
But she's not proud of some American's actions.
Some of them are pretty Looney Tunes.
