I'm so thankful for my friends.
They keep my thoughts in perspective and help me deal with life!
They keep my thoughts in perspective and help me deal with life!
Here's some of the suggestions I've heard for staying playful.
Have some hobbies, join clubs, and service organizations.
Shredding - sometimes reading - the paper can be interesting.
Books are great for relieving stress and strain
and help you learn how to live a long, long, long, happy life.
TV and movies
Good music,a little dancing,
some good food,
and interesting, artistic views
help keep a mind from spinning into the doldrums.
It's important to keep a perspective of gratitude.
And of course my favorite relaxer and
down time activity is a nap.
(My friends even understand the importance of sleep!)
It's all about balance.
You've got to know when to kick back and relax.
(And be a little crazy every once in awhile!)
Dress up and go out on the town.
Go to a concert or show.
Get some fresh air.
Enjoy time outside.
My favorite thing to do is taking long walks
to look at all the different kinds of houses and gardens.
to look at all the different kinds of houses and gardens.
We even just moved in walking distance of a fancy botanical garden!
Mom rides her bike there too!
Sadly, pets aren't allowed at the botanical gardens!
Grrrrrrrr.
But don't let troublesome things make you lose a positive train of thought.
Focus on activities that make you smile.
And find time to laugh!
Life can be puzzling.
But things always come together in time.
You just want to make sure you make the most of this grand ride of life.
So remember...
PAWS
Think of a time when you let your physical, emotional and mental states became unbalanced.
Try not to let it happen again!
You only have one you.
Take care of yourself!
Don't let things become an emergency situation.
Take some deep breaths,
trust.
and bloom where you're planted.

Dear Magnus,
ReplyDeleteOnce again your perspective enlightens, educates and entertains me! I especially liked your cherry pie perspective (with the "stem" on the plate) and the emergency image of a distorted Homer Simpson doll floating in a plastic dish! ROFL! Dawg, I hope none of us get to that level of emergency, ever! hahaha! Good job! Keep it real, Dawg! Love to your precious people!
Dawg!
