Fire and Ice

My backyard is basically a skating rink and my life is slip sliding away.
I want some heat - but NOT this kind.
I like ice - but not this kind.
All this cold is making me squirrelly.
The breath of it all is chilling.
Literally.
Chilling.
It's probably gonna be a winter wonderland until April Fool's Day.
 Not joking.
I just want to curl up in a blanket and stay warm.
Are you listening?
I hope you had a Valentine's Day full of love, sweet stuff, and hugs.
It's a tough holiday for some people so I hope you spread the love.
Are you living up to your potential?
Using your creative talents?
Are you finding your way okay?
Feeling colorful and hip?
If you aren't:
Make some art. Have a pillow fight. Hug a snake. Call a friend.
Eat some veggies. Take a walk at the gym or mall.
Go to an art museum, gallery, or antique store.
Have you had some shattering news that made you doubt?
Don't fret!
F.R.O.G.
(Fully Rely On God)
Tighten your grip on things.
And go look at all the color and JOY around you.
Take a walk on the wild side.
Are you someone who gets to be a snowbird
and fly away to somewhere warm?
I'm "jelly."
As the cool folk say.
(Jealous.)
Cabin Fever Time
is a golden opportunity
to take the time to smell the lilies.
And snuggle.
If snuggling and eating chocolate doesn't warm you up,
find a comfy spot and nap!
Cook up something hot and spicy!
Make tea and have some friends over.

Eat pie!
Play with toys!
Bring flowers inside!
Listen to some tunes.
Read some books.
Do a puzzle. Make a list.
Sometimes Mom just takes pics...
So many new friends
and old favorites.

Did you watch the Oscars?
Did you pick the winners?
Shine on!
Don't let anyone pop your bubble.
Say CHEESE and SMILE!
No matter what ____ happens.
Eat warm foods, exercise, and use blankets!
The good thing is a lot of the winter sites are super pretty.
Have faith!
 Spring is coming!
PAWS and think about what you chose to do
when you can't be outside for long periods of time.
Do you enjoy alone quiet time?
Do you tidy up?
Do you binge watch?
Do you find ways to stay physically active?
Do you adventure to indoor sites?
How can you embrace the situation
and make it enjoyable?
Do it!
