Help! I Need Somebody!

Family visited this month.
FINALLY.
I had not slobbered on these people
for over a year!
When they left I was really, really sad.
I know I am not the only one missing loved ones.
Below are some photos and advice
of what helps us as we deal
with the loneliness and isolation of the
Covid 19 pandemic.

Being a good neighbor helps.
Have you checked in on yours lately?
We had a warm day so one of ours
invited Mom to an outdoor gallery-like showing
to see more of her husband's works.
Enjoy!
O.W.L. stands for Only With Love.
Collage of seven diverse images.
Collage of six Chicago Botanic Garden views.
Venice - but the one in Las Vegas!
A watercolor of the Taj!
Amazing portraits!
Still life paintings of a window where Irv taught painting to seniors.
Irv's interesting subject matter choices,
intricate details, use of color
and wide variety of mediums are fascinating.
Mom was thrilled to be gifted with some more of his works!!!
Thank you!
We'd like to present this award to the vaccines
for their ability to give us hope for a summer out of the house!

Quarantine life continues to be puzzling.
But we have found some things that help us deal with it.
Chips help.
Music helps.
We miss Wyatt on American Idol!
He's on Cameo now - check it out!
Books help.
Antiquing and thrifting helps.
Trips to the city help!
(Some things are found at Curbs R Us!)
Walks and cute, new Crocs help.

Nibbles help.
Sawing some logs helps.
Good movies help.
Fun shenanigans in a sitcom helps.
Letters from friends helps.
Chillin' with Mom outside helps.
Watching MI 5 with the fam helps.
(However, I am NOT a fan of this stair idea.
But my hips are failing so it's nice Mom tried to help.)
VACCINES HELP!!!
Visiting with friends and family soon is for sure going to help Mom.
We are at a jumping off point with this pandemic.
We can end this thing if we all work together!
Smiling helps.
PAWS a Moment
and think about
all the ways you've
been helped
through this month of
the pandemic.
Try to think of ways to help someone else!

Until the next time,
~ Magnus Pym
