Grouchy? Seeing red? Chill!

Quarantine induced grumpiness is REAL...
Mom goes to estate sales and resale shops
for retail (photo taking) therapy.
What do you do for fun?
If you are feeling grouchy
and "seeing red" emotionally ~
we recommend you
GET OUTSIDE
and SEE nature's RED!
It will help you feel better!

Seeing mellow yellow is also good for the soul.
ORANGE has super flower power!
Be sure and look up!
Be sure and look down.
Let the colors and settings
remind you to count your blessings.
We can all act like big babies at times.
But once we finish sharing
our boo hoos with a good friend
and have taken care of our H.A.L.T. needs:
Hungry

Angry

Lonely

Tired

we can turn over a new leaf,
and get out of the blues!

It's easy to get all twisted up about things.
Don't let the little things bug you.
Whooooooooooo do you share your woes with?
Are they friends who will help you
keep a healthy perspective?

Positive minded friends help us stay positive.
Don't be shy with your needs.

When things get stormy.

Or you get stuck in a rut.
Don't try to deal with heavy things alone.
Friends can help you deal.
Even when you can't find the words to express yourself.

It's good to have buddies.

They help you see things more clearly.
And shine light upon the dark.

So stay in Fellowship.
Keep your true friends close by.
Friends know what you like
and help you stay true to you!

True friends help us not become
a basket case when things unravel.
Friends remind us to "be where our feet are"
and live in the moment.
Speaking of feet,
Mom got invited on a walk to tour a farm
where there's an artist's studio onsite.
This pic shows the right kind of crabby.
Not to be catty,
but we do need to try
and get along with others.
It's all a matter of perspective.
At the recommendation of a friend Mom rereads this book often.
This audio version has an introduction by Anne's daughter.
Check it out!
2020 is the 50th Anniversary of this insightful book.
What a powerhouse album!
Check out these
Have you stopped and had a cuppa?
Have you seen any Halloween decorations?
Tis the season of scary heads!

Halloween is sure to be different this year.
Stay safe!
DO NOT GHOST THE ELECTION!
GET OUT THERE!
Make your voice heard!
Don't ever forget how women fought for this right!

Mom would love to go through a time machine and fix 2016.
We can't even swat the problem away.
We each need to do our part to put
in the White House
other than the liar talked about in this book
My the Force be with Biden and Harris!

YOU can fix this.

VOTE!!!
Because seriously...
The United States was built upon IMMIGRANTS coming to this land.
It't TIME to acknowledge our true beginnings.

So this Thanksgiving

PAWS and remember we are all mutts.
Tell your litter mates you love them.
Mom misses traveling.
She hopes to be able to see a friend's new home soon.

Stay safe.
Stay warm.

Winter is coming.

Stay CHILL.
Stay JOLLY!
Until next time...

and my Mom.

  1. Magnus, we travel in the same circles! And I love that you came to my house! I recognize so much! And what was your mommy thinking, dressing you up in that crazy thing. You're a good sport. :)
