Cold Shoulder

I know it's rude to give someone the
COLD SHOULDER
but in -23 degree
weather I have no choice!

So, in order to try and stay warm...
the best thing to do in times like these is
CARB UP!
(And SUGAR UP, FAT UP, and EAT UP!)

Okay, maybe you shouldn't eat tooooooo much.
Invite some friends over and share your favorite goodies.
 YES, it's ccccccccold.
But don't chicken out and stay locked inside.
Bundle up and get outside for a bit of fresh air.

Be brave!
(Just don't let your eyelashes
FREEZE
together like my mom did!)

 Mom sees a puppy face.
Do you?
LOOK what I made when I went outside!
Mom took the train downtown to visit my human sister.
She said they saw an awesome movie.
Notice: The sign above the door says OPEN.
They checked out some Lincoln Park places.
Mom loves exploring the city.
(With a guide!)
Mom loves colorful items and snaps pics of them all month long.
(She sees a lot of these cool things at resale and antique places.)
Here's this month's bevy of discoveries.

Have you seen some good movies?
Read some good books?
Sent someone greetings via snail mail?
Cranked up some tunes?
Done a puzzle?

What WOOD you like to have happen in 2019?
Want to unlock those hopes and dreams?
Have some quiet time and ponder.
Pray. Meditate. Journal.
Take a NAP!
Our community celebrated Martin Luther King Jr. Day
with a "Day On" full of service and love.
Here's some ways to stay warm physically and emotionally.
 Buy yourself some flowers.
Call or text someone HELLO (ALOHA)
and tell them how grateful you are for their friendship!

Put on a warm sweater or shawl.
Listen to a podcast while curled up in front of a wood burning fireplace.
.
Lights some candles.
Get your blood flowing with some exercise.
HUG and SNUGGLE!
Mom says hot coffee, tea, and cocoa are a must!
There's a lot of germs this season
but washing your hands over and over
- plus the cold air -
makes skin crack.
To keep your hands (paws?)
soft and clean try these products!
Keep smiling.
I "fish" for you a time to
PAWS and look at something calming.
It's time to wrap this thing up...
Just try your best not to give anyone the cold shoulder.
Turn around and give them a great big HUG!
Until next month,
~ Magnus Pym

  1. Magnus how do you find such neat things to take photos of?!? And how'd you get a pic of me in my snow puppy glory? You get all the best shots. Hope to see your sweet self again soon! Wuv, Ivy da goldendoodle.
