Movin' On

E.T.! Phone home!
Something odd is going on around here.
I'm feeling a little boxed in.
My mind is feeling a bit cluttered.
U
I guess it's time to roll.
So let me state this in black and white:
My family is NOT going anywhere without ME!
Phew! I got to come to the new place!
I'm NUTS about it!
However, having your lifetime bed thrown in the dumpster is very depressing...
...and so is being separated from your family by a flight of stairs!
I haven't quite figured out where to hang out yet.
(And there's some comfy places I've found that I got squirted off of!)
Mom and Dad bought me this bed...
But let's be serious,
I prefer a whole couch.
This place is pretty sweet though!
All the little details are amazing!
It's nice to see Mom so happy.
But there is some weird stuff...
(Mom saw this stuff at another home, so weird stuff is other places too!)
The new place is a pretty fancy.
Mom says we'll be on a shoestring budget for awhile.
It's not easy bein' in the green...
You just gotta F.R.O.G.! (Fully Rely on God!)

(So orange you glad blogging is free Mom???)
Like the colors in my mind!
(A neighborhood of fun!)
Hot, diggety, dog!
Life really is quite a ball!
Summer - and winter!
Mom and I met some new furry faces this month
and hung out with of some of the regulars.

It broke Mom's heart to leave the neighborhood.
The neighbors held a going away party for Mom and Dad.
And they wrote a poem that featured ME!
(Wellllll, it featured my knack for visiting the neighbors - uninvited.)
Dad especially hates leaving the hummingbirds he fed religiously.
But we are ready to DIVE into our new surroundings.
Mom ordered from a new pizza place.
(Sadly the old one is waaaaay better.)
Ma and Pa also checked out a local South American restaurant.
They said it was great!
And they went to Food Truck Thursdays.
(I don't know why they didn't buy any of this doggy swag!)
Mom found a new Farmer's Market to explore.
And just around the corner there's music, music, music from June-September!
There's even a cute deli right by the house - with comic books!
It's super weird that Mom and Dad are empty nesters now.
(It's a good thing they've got me!)
It's really hard to believe it, but they got everything moved out, and moved in!
And now Mom has new places to hang out,
be still,
write,
 listen to her vinyls.
and drink tea.
Even though the month was filled with
grit, sweat, and tears,
beauty and blessings still abounded!
I'm glad our family doesn't have tunnel vision.
We have faith that the light IS at the end of the tunnel!

PAWS and think about a time you had to walk through darkness in faith.

Even though there are so many more boxes to unpack
and the spiders keep making webs,
Mom is taking time to be where her feet are,
rest,
drink water,
and enjoy.
We hope you are savoring life too!

P.S. Mom saw this and didn't want y'all to forget:
