Warm Words of Comfort

How do you like my polar bear impersonation?
January is ccccchilly- bundle up!
Here's some ways to stay warm.
Take a walk with your buddies.

Play catch.
Go skiing! Go bowling!
Exercise!
Snuggle under the covers, stay in bed or find a comfy spot.
Find something hot and yummy to eat.
(Like MOD Pizza.)
Or cook something warm and tasty.
Have some warm tea in front of a roaring fire.
Bake sweets.
And if you need tissues, at least make them cute.
Send a friend a warm greeting.
Write something that will get people thinking.
Getting cabin fever? Been inside too long?
Marching can get your blood going.
Take a train somewhere and see new things.
(See the parking fee tickets in the vending machine? )
Lights, camera, action!
Discover new sights.
Get dressed up and go see a show!
Go to a thrift store and look at random stuff.
Certain items bring back fond memories of friends and places.
Read a heart warming book.
Fold some laundry.
Take time to listen, really listen, to a friend.
Stay in the light.
Because no matter how cold it gets outside,
it's the warmth in your heart that matters.
PAWS and think of a friend you can lift up.
Call and check in on them.

And remember:
It's important to ask for help when you need it.
